Ian Murray McKellen (født 25. mai 1939 i Burnley i England) er en britisk skuespiller. Han er kjent fra X-Men-trilogien for sin rolle som Magneto, som Gandalv i filmatiseringen av Ringenes herre-trilogien (2001-2003) og Hobbiten (2012-2014), og som en forkjemper for homofiles rettigheter.
